What is Excitement Index?

I have written a few articles about Excitement Index, what it is, and how it works. Click this link for the most recent one. An update is in the works, but everything is mostly the same. The most important thing to know for our live entertainment purposes is that it is a measure of how competitive the games are, not just how many games each player wins in each set. A high Excitement Index is built by competitive games adding up over time. It can also be built by adding up an incredible amount of time. The record for Excitement Index is Isner-Mahut – but it is not on top by much. The individual points didn’t mean all that much, but they added up very high. Excitement Average captures the amount of meaning in each individual point. Together, these two paint a picture of the type of match that is going on – and we calculate it in real time!

Live Streams

This year, I am trying my hand at live streaming during the US Open! On Saturday afternoon (8/29), I am going live on TikTok, Twitch (dwecksports), and YouTube (DweckSports), going line by line through both main draws and giving detailed previews of the tournament all 256 main draw singles players are looking at.
